Pinwheel blanket
It is lovely, no?
The edge is crocheted for a bit of a picot look. I think I bound off a little tightly, so it wouldn't lie completely flat. This is a case for using a bigger needle to do the bind off! 
The startled recipient! You can also see the hat with the red rosette added on.
