Done with Anouk!

Anouk is done, save sewing on the buttons. I even made matching socks...and if it weren't for the snow, I'd have the proper sized DPNs and circs to make the matching hat. Ah well...all in good time. Pics tomorrow.

I have now started (casually) on a beach cover up. I'm just playing around right now. I'm not even sure that what I'm doing is going to work. Right now I'm doing the skirt in a lace pattern on size 17 (11 mm) needles. I wanted to do this in the round, but again, I lack the circs due to the poxy snow. I suppose I could have waited and finished, say, the clapotis or basketweave scarf...but I like to play. Doing it flat may have fashionable advantages though. Asymmetry might help hide the massive amounts of flab. Anyway, I'm not concerned right now.
