Lots of ideas...

Well, since I'm rather poor and have been bitten very hard by the knitting bug, I decided I'm going to knit a few christmas presents. You may note from the sidebar that there's a Harry Potter theme...let me explain. I was planning on the Ravenclaw scarf for my friend before I started the socks, but then my weird flatmate gave me Griffyndor coloured yarn from a scarf that she failed to make. My young cousins are huge Harry Potter fans, and as they are strange children who don't wear scarves or gloves but like wearing slippers and thick socks, that socks would be a good answer since I should be able to get both pairs out of the two balls of yarn. Neat. The Star Wars scarf is my first delve into intarsia knitting but if I can pull it off, my friend Matt will love me forever.

I will post pictures of the finished denim socks once I can unpack decently enough to locate my camera and card reader.
